“A true farm to bottle experience”
Since October 2017, Katie Evans and David Connor of Ocean State Pepper Co have been growing the hottest peppers and turning them into seasoning blends, without the use of salt. Their fresh, organically-grown chilis are grown in-house allowing them to control the process from seed to bottle (meaning they’re extra fresh!)
Their mission is to “overhaul the outdated spice rack with approachable tools to help people create chef-inspired meals with healthy, natural ingredients. Through this mission we will change the way people feel about seasoning, by knowing exactly what they are putting on their food, and making meals taste good without the overwhelming addition of salt and sugar.”
Rhode Island Pepper Co is one of my favorite gifts for my foodie friends, and a staple in my kitchen. Take it from me, you don’t want to miss out on these seasonings!
